I'm an Autonomy/Flight Research Controls Software Engineer at Joby Aviation.

I'm a competitive glider pilot and have won several US national championships.

Solving problems to change the world is what motivates me, and I'm dedicated to making aviation a part of most peoples' every day lives. I have an exceptional ability to solve extremely difficult problems by starting with the simplest solution and incrementally increasing complexity to address the shortcomings of simplicity.

I thoroughly enjoy designing and 3D printing parts to improve gliders and and to solve miscellaneous problems around my home. Most of the parts I’ve built were designed in SolidWorks and printed with my Creality Ender 3 3D printer at home.
